Rules
Here are the rules of boxing:
- Boxing matches are typically divided into rounds, with each round lasting three minutes for professional bouts and two minutes for amateur bouts.
- Boxers must wear gloves and protective gear, including mouthguards and headgear (for amateurs).
- The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent's body and head, or to knock out the opponent.
- Boxers are not allowed to hit below the belt, use their elbows, or strike with the back of their hands.
- Referees oversee the match to ensure that the rules are followed and can stop the fight if a boxer is deemed unable to continue safely.
